On an 11-point board three hounds try to corner the hare; hounds may only move forwards or up and down, never back, while the hare may run in any direction and wins by getting behind every hound, or if the hounds stall with 10 vertical moves in a row. Play either side against three computer levels, two players on one device, with undo.

棋盘有 11 个点，沿连线移动一步到相邻的空点。三只猎犬从左边出发、先走，只能向右或上下移动，不能后退；野兔从右端出发，可以朝任意方向走。猎犬把野兔围得无路可走就赢；野兔跑到所有猎犬的左边（身后）就赢；另外，如果猎犬连续 10 步都只是上下移动，判定猎犬拖延，野兔获胜。The board has 11 points; a move is one step along a line to an adjacent empty point. The three hounds start on the left and move first, only rightwards or up/down, never back. The hare starts on the right and may move in any direction. The hounds win by leaving the hare no move; the hare wins by getting to the left of (behind) every hound, or if the hounds make 10 vertical moves in a row (stalling).
扮演哪一方更容易赢？Which side is easier?
规则下双方都能取胜：猎犬要步步为营、保持阵型往前压；野兔要找猎犬之间的空隙绕过去。困难难度的电脑会往后算 8 步。Both sides can win: the hounds must advance in formation, the hare must find a gap to slip through. The Hard computer looks eight moves ahead.
为什么有“拖延”规则？Why the stalling rule?
如果猎犬只在原地上下挪动，游戏会永远不结束，所以连续 10 步竖走就判野兔胜，逼猎犬主动推进。Without it the hounds could shuffle up and down forever, so ten vertical moves in a row hand the win to the hare and force the hounds to advance.
