How do I play Meteor Shooter?
A large meteor splits into two medium ones when hit, a medium one into two small ones, and small ones are destroyed outright. Large, medium and small rocks score 20, 50 and 100. The ship has no brakes — after thrusting it keeps gliding, so turn around and thrust the other way to slow down. Leaving one edge of the screen brings you back on the opposite side, and the same goes for shots and rocks. Hitting a meteor costs a life; the ship reappears in the centre when it is clear and is briefly invulnerable.
Any survival tips?
Thrust as little as possible — rotating and shooting from the middle is safest. Be careful when breaking big rocks, as the pieces fly off in different directions; don't shatter too many at once. Small rocks are worth the most but are hardest to hit.
Why won't my ship stop?
That is inertia in space: with no air resistance your speed stays (the game adds only a very slight slowdown). To stop, turn the nose 180° and give a short burst of thrust to cancel your speed.
