What is the Coffee Ratio tool?

1:N」。Water or grounds from a coffee:water ratio. Processed locally. Settings: Given, Grounds g, Water g/mL, Ratio 1:N.

How do I use the Coffee Ratio tool?

In the Coffee Ratio: Fill in "Given", "Grounds g", "Water g/mL", "Ratio 1:N"; results are recalculated instantly as you type.

Can I use millilitres for the water?

Yes. Water is about 1 g/mL, so 1 mL counts as 1 g. The coffee must be in grams. A ratio of 1:N means 1 g of coffee to N g of water, so 1:15 gives 300 mL for 20 g.

Can you show a worked example?

1:16.67For example, entering Grounds g = 18, Ratio 1:N = 16.67 in the Coffee Ratio gives: Suggested water: 300.06 g; Ratio: 1:16.67

Which inputs are validated?

The Coffee Ratio checks its inputs — "Grounds g", "Water g/mL", "Ratio 1:N": required, must be greater than 0; numbers above 10¹⁵ in absolute value are rejected too. When a value fails, the result area names the problem instead of showing a number.

What options can I adjust?
