Diamond Weight (demo, carats)
Demo: carats ≈ L×W×D×shape factor (mm; round factor often ~0.0061 already includes the usual scale — do not also divide by 1000). Processed locally.

What is the Diamond Weight (demo, carats) tool?

How do I use the Diamond Weight (demo, carats) tool?
Enter the stone's length, width and depth in mm and the shape factor to estimate its weight in carats (an approximation). The result updates as you type.
系数？Factor?
Round often ~0.0061 (already scaled — do not also divide by 1000); fancy shapes differ.
Divide by 1000?
No. The factor used here (e.g. 0.0061) already maps millimetre sizes to carats; dividing by 1000 again would be 1000× too small.
Which inputs are validated?
The Diamond Weight (demo, carats) checks its inputs — "Length mm", "Width mm", "Depth mm", "Shape factor": required, must be greater than 0; numbers above 10¹⁵ in absolute value are rejected too. When a value fails, the result area names the problem instead of showing a number.
What options can I adjust?
Settings in the Diamond Weight (demo, carats) — "Length mm" default 6.5; "Width mm" default 6.5; "Depth mm" default 4; "Shape factor" default 0.0061. The result always uses the current settings.
