Lottie Animation Player

What is the Lottie Animation Player tool?

Preview Lottie (Bodymovin) JSON animations in your browser: play/pause, scrub frame by frame, change speed, loop and background, and see the size, frame rate, duration and layer count — great for checking animations before hand-off.

How do I use the Lottie Animation Player?

Pick or drop a .json exported by Bodymovin from After Effects (or paste the JSON) and it plays automatically. Scrub frame by frame with the slider and change speed or background to check transparency. Files stay on your device.

Which Lottie files are supported?

Standard Bodymovin .json files, including embedded base64 images. For safety it uses the light player that does not evaluate expressions, so animations relying on AE expressions may differ slightly; for .lottie archives, unzip the json first.

Why is the animation blank?

Usually the file references external images (assets u/p point to local paths) or uses unsupported effects. Enable “Include in json” in Bodymovin export settings to embed images.
