Nine points joined by rows, columns and both diagonals; each side has four pieces. First take turns placing them — three in a row wins. Once all eight are down only one point is empty, and you take turns sliding a piece along a line into it, still racing for three in a row. The moving phase makes it far livelier than tic-tac-toe — three computer levels, two-player mode and undo.

「阿奇棋」怎么玩？How do I play Achi?
第一阶段：黑白双方轮流在空点上放子，每方 4 颗。任何时候三颗同色子连成一条直线（横、竖或对角线）就赢。第二阶段：8 颗子都放完后盘上只剩一个空点，轮到谁就把自己一颗与空点相连的子挪过去。角上的点只连着相邻两个边点和中心，边中点只连两个角和中心，中心连所有点。轮到你却没有子能挪也算输；走满 80 步仍无三连算和棋。Phase one: Black and White take turns placing pieces on empty points, four each. Three of your pieces on one line — row, column or diagonal — wins at any time. Phase two: with all eight placed there is one empty point left, and on your turn you slide one of your pieces that is connected to it. Corners connect to their two edge neighbours and the centre, edge midpoints to two corners and the centre, and the centre to everything. No legal move on your turn loses; 80 moves without three in a row is a draw.
和井字棋有什么不同？How is it different from tic-tac-toe?
井字棋下满九格就结束，高手之间必定平局；阿奇棋每人只有 4 颗子，下满 8 颗后还要继续挪子，前面摆子时就得考虑之后怎么走。Tic-tac-toe ends when the grid fills and good players always draw. In Achi each side has only four pieces and the game continues with moves, so placement has to plan for the sliding phase.
中心点为什么重要？Why does the centre matter?
中心点连着全部 8 个点，占住中心的棋子可以走到任何地方，也同时参与 4 条连线，所以开局先手大多抢中心。The centre links to all eight points and lies on four lines, so a piece there is the most flexible on the board; the first player usually takes it.
