在 n×n 的方格中，每一行和每一列都要恰好包含 1 到 n 各一次。方格被粗线分成若干区域，每个区域标有一个目标数和一种运算：加法和乘法区域里所有数字参与运算；减法和除法区域只有两格，用大数减（除以）小数。同一区域里的数字可以重复，只要不在同一行或同一列。In an n×n grid every row and every column must contain each number from 1 to n exactly once. Bold lines split the grid into cages, each with a target and an operation. In addition and multiplication cages all digits take part; subtraction and division cages have two cells, and you take the larger number minus (or divided by) the smaller. Digits may repeat inside a cage as long as they are not in the same row or column.
从哪里下手？Where should I start?
先填单格区域，再看组合很少的区域：例如 4×4 里“2÷”只能是 1 和 2 或 2 和 4，“7+”的两格只能是 3+4；乘法区域可以先把目标数分解质因数。每填一个数，同行同列就少一个可能。Fill single-cell cages first, then cages with few combinations — in a 4×4, “2÷” can only be 1&2 or 2&4, and a two-cell “7+” must be 3+4. Factorise multiplication targets into primes. Each digit you place removes that option from its row and column.
和数独有什么不同？How is it different from sudoku?
它没有 3×3 宫，只要求行和列不重复，所以数字可以是 1 到 4、5、6 或 7；难点在于算式区域，需要把加减乘除和排除法结合起来，是很好的心算练习。There are no 3×3 boxes — only rows and columns must be unique — so the digits run from 1 up to 4, 5, 6 or 7. The challenge comes from the arithmetic cages, which combine mental maths with elimination.
