What is the BibTeX Citation Key Generator?

Rename all citation keys in a .bib with one pattern — vaswani2017attention, Vaswani2017, smith_2020_deep … — handling clashes (a/b suffixes) and accented names, and optionally rewrite the \cite commands in your .tex to match.

How do I use the BibTeX Citation Key Generator?

Paste your .bib and choose a pattern; the new .bib and an old → new key table appear on the right. To update the manuscript, paste your .tex into the \cite box to get it rewritten.

Does the title word skip “a”, “the”?

会。会跳过 a、an、the、on、of 等常见虚词，取第一个有意义的单词，与 Google Scholar 的键风格一致。Yes — common stop words such as a, an, the, on and of are skipped, as in Google Scholar keys.

How are Chinese authors keyed?

The romanised surname is used when present; Chinese-only names keep the Chinese surname, which works with XeLaTeX/biber.
